Ubisoft racing game The Crew Motorfest is out this year and is set in Hawaii

Ubisoft has announced The Crew Motorfest, the third title in the game series. This game is set on the Hawaiian island of Oahu. Motorfest, unlike The Crew 2, seems to focus only on cars and doesn’t seem to get planes, boats, or motorcycles.

The Crew Motorfest is made by Ubisoft Ivory Tower and is like previous titles an open world racing game. The game gets ‘hundreds of vehicles’, although Ubisoft only shows cars for now. It therefore seems that the game will not get any other types of vehicles, as was the case in The Crew 2.

In Motorfest, players can drive on asphalt roads, but also off-road racing, for example on a volcano , in forests or on the beach. The multiplayer part gets a big role in the game again and players can race, do ‘themed events and other challenges’. The Hawaiian capital Honolulu will also be in the game.

The game will be released later this year for PlayStation 4 and 5, Xbox Series consoles and Xbox One, Windows and Amazon Luna. On Wednesday, February 1, Ubisoft will start an Insiders Program, which will allow certain players to try out Motorfest. For the time being this program is only available for the PC; console gamers should also get early access later.
