Sony: More than 100 VR games are in development for PSVR2

Sony has put an extensive list of questions and answers about the VR headset online in the run-up to the release of the PlayStation VR 2. In it, the company reports, among other things, that more than 100 titles are currently in development.

Sony only says that it’s over 100 titles for the PSVR2 and doesn’t give an exact number in the questions and answers. On the Resetera forum considers a total of 122 titles in development. Furthermore, the blog with the questions and answers says that all titles can be purchased digitally and that “certain titles” will also be released in physical form, but Sony does not say which titles are involved.

Recently made the Japanese company already Entire Lineup Announced for the release of the successor to the original PSVR headset. It concerns a total of about 35 titles, including Gran Turismo 7, Horizon Call of the Mountain, Tetris Effect: Connected, No Man’s Sky, Jurassic World Aftermath and Resident Evil Village.

The PSVR2 will be available on February 22 and costs 600 euros. The new VR headset only works with a PlayStation 5 and it was previously announced that the PSVR2 is not backwards compatible with PSVR games. As a result, older VR games cannot be played on the new version.
