ING malfunction leads to problems with internet banking, app and iDEAL payments

ING customers are experiencing a malfunction as a result of which several of the bank’s services do not work or work less well. This concerns the My ING section on the website, but also the use of the ING app and making payments via iDEAL.

On the iDEAL status page shows that there is currently a malfunction at ING, which means that customers of the bank cannot pay with the payment system via an ING account. It is recommended to try again or pay with an account from another bank.

ING confirms on Twitter that there is a malfunction at Mijn ING and the app and that we are working to solve the problems as quickly as possible. It is not stated how long the problems are expected to last. For example, customers report that logging into the app is not successful and, if successful, that certain components are not displayed.

The breakdown website Allestoringen shows that the problems are occurring in Belgium and the Netherlands. Users also complain here that earlier in the Wednesday morning no report had been made on the status page of ING, but the bank now reports on this page that there are problems with iDEAL and login problems at My ING for private individuals and business users.
