Ubiquiti introduces a high-end audio amplifier for the first time: the PowerAmp. The device is very similar to the Sonos Amp, but is about 100 euros cheaper. The PowerAmp will be available from August 29.
The device delivers 130W per channel at 8Ω and supports wireless streaming via AirPlay 2 and Spotify Connect. Connections include two speaker terminals, a subwoofer output, analog RCA inputs and an HDMI/e-arc port with Dolby Atmos support.
Operation is via a touchscreen with rotary knob or the UniFi Play app. The PowerAmp is available from August 29 for 682.80 euros.
